Where Mountains, Meaning, and Mindful Adventure Meet.
OUR ORIGIN
Born in the Himalayas, Driven by Mindfulness.
Be Travelist began with a simple belief: the mountains are not meant to be conquered, but experienced. Based in India, we moved away from crowded, rushed tourism to curate mindful journeys. Whether it’s the spiritual Chopta–Tungnath trek or the raw beauty of Spiti Valley, we design trips that allow you to travel slow and feel deeper.

Climb Higher. Feel Deeper
Not just trips, but experiences that stay with you forever. Step away from the crowds and explore offbeat Himalayan escapes like Spiti Valley, Kasol, and Jibhi. Travel slow, and find your meaning in the mountains.
Preparing for the mountains requires care and clarity. Here are answers to the most common queries about our small-group treks, safety protocols, and mindful travel approach.
How do you ensure safety on your Himalayan treks?
Safety is our ultimate priority. We travel in strictly small groups led by certified local Himalayan experts. We carry comprehensive medical/first-aid kits, follow proper acclimatization schedules, and ensure our guides are trained to handle high-altitude situations.
Do I need prior trekking experience to join?
Not always! We offer journeys for various levels. While the Chopta-Chandrashila trek requires basic fitness , our slow travel escapes in Jibhi or Kasol are perfect for beginners. Our guides always maintain a comfortable, unhurried pace.
What is the typical group size for your trips?
We believe in intimate, mindful experiences. Our group sizes are intentionally kept small to ensure personal attention, safety, and a genuine connection with both nature and fellow travelers.
Is it safe for solo female travelers to join?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on creating a completely secure, respectful, and welcoming environment. Many solo travelers join our small groups and leave with lifelong friendships and beautiful memories.
What is usually included in your journey packages?
Our packages generally cover safe accommodations (premium tents or authentic homestays), nutritious local meals, expert local guides, and necessary permits. Detailed inclusions are listed on each specific trip page.
How do I book a private or custom offbeat escape?
Simply fill out the form on our Contact page or reach out to us directly at +91 86790 35551. Our team will connect with you to design a personalized experience-first journey in Spiti, Manali, or beyond.

BOOKING & PAYMENTS
Planning Your Mindful Journey
We believe in complete transparency. Reaching the mountains should be stress-free. Here is everything you need to know about confirming your spot, payment policies, and preparing for your Himalayan escape.
To secure your spot in our strictly small groups, we require an initial advance payment. Once we receive this, our team will send you a detailed booking confirmation, day-by-day itinerary, and a comprehensive packing list.
What payment methods do you accept?
As an India-based company, we accept all major secure payment methods including UPI (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm), IMPS/NEFT bank transfers, and major debit/credit cards to make your booking seamless.
Are there any hidden charges during the trip?
Absolutely not. We design experience-first journeys with complete honesty. Your package includes everything listed in the ‘Inclusions’ section (like safe stays, expert guides, and specific meals). Any personal expenses are clearly mentioned in the ‘Exclusions’.
What is your cancellation and refund policy?
We understand that emergencies happen. Our refund policy depends on how close the cancellation is to the departure date. You can find the complete, step-by-step breakdown on our dedicated ‘Refund Policy’ page.
Can I pay the remaining balance during the trek?
To ensure an uninterrupted, slow travel experience, we handle all logistics beforehand. Since remote Himalayan regions often lack internet connectivity, we request that the full balance be cleared before your journey begins.
Do you require a minimum number of people to run a batch?
We prioritize the trip going ahead! However, as we maintain small groups for safety and authentic connection, a minimum viable number is sometimes needed. If a batch is altered, we communicate transparently well in advance and offer easy rescheduling or refunds.
